A scene kid is usually a teen, from the ages of 13-19, who has just realised that being an emo was making everyone think they were a twat so they decide to make everyone see that they weren't.
SCENE GIRL:
Black hair with extensions, backcombed. Might have a few neon colours to make them look *unique*
Thick eyeliner, because they dont know any other way from when they were emo
Wears things they think are unique, but usually aren't. They try to look as un-emo as possible.
Goes to loads of shows. Wanks to Jeffree* and Hello Kitty. Idols are often scene models, namely Audrey Kitching, Zui Suicide, etc.
Popular on either Bebo or myspace, has loads of pictured of themself to whore themself to everyone.
Puts a name related to death or something $C3ne after their name, for example SueSuicide, ChloeCarnivore.
Advertises themselves as vegetarian, even though they probably eat haribo and jelly.
Can't stand anyone who is new to the scene.
Listens to either screamo or techno music, even if they dont like it.
has loads of piercings, namely septum, lip piercings, ear stretchers, things which make them look scener than the person they're sitting next to.
Wants to be anorexic
SCENE BOYS:
Black hair, fringes, just like an emo haircut.
skinnies, hoodies, black stuff, still pretty emo.
big nikes, adidas or supras.
acts cool, but at home is a pussy.
obsessed with tattoos
thinks moshing is for hard nuts, just like themselves.
gay boys.
just go to your nearest town and the ones who look like gay fags are scene kids.

Boys in too-tight girls pants and girls in ridiculously large shades who think they're awesome because they go to shows like most people go through water.
on many occasions, scene kids will go to shows of bands they've never even heard of before, just to get scene points. extra scene points for kids who wear bandannas for no reason or are in a shitty ass band.
At any local venue, the kid who's casually bobbing his or her head along to the music, but is entirely too cool to actually sing along.

a person who you swear is at every show (local concert) even if they are on the same day.

Scene kids are people(teens) that
are trying to be different, unique, random, etc..
When really they are just doing
They follow whatever "the scene" is.
the exact opposite by this because
they think this makes them cool

scene kids usually find themselves original, weird etc, when they are really just normal sane kids.
a lot of "normal" people (who dont know they're scene as well)
think scene kids are stupid.
What really makes them(scene kids) stupid is seeing other
peole dress, or act this way and they are tricked
into liking it as well.

Being scene can even include the things people do,
say, or how they act. Even bands are 'scene'.

scene kids need to be updated, the other ones on urban dictionary are getting old.
scene boys:
-Tight pants or 3/4 pants (3/4's mostly camo)
-Likes techno and rap but also likes genres like screamo, hardcore and grindcore.
-theres many different hair styles:
spiked at the back and long fringe
flat hair, big fringe
Box/block fringe (straight across eyesbrows or eyes.) longer at the sides.
-has myspace, doesnt always have thousands of friends, but those who do join myspace trains (aesthetic perfection is popular these days)
-arent always gay or bisexual, some of them dislike gays/lesbians.
-hxc scene kids have many piercings, mostly septum, bridge and snakebites.
-Bring me the horizon, hadouken!, Jeffree star ectt = scene bands.
-wears nikes, vans or sometimes converse.
-Indie, emo and scene are all very similiar.
-talks in text language.
e.g: lol, lmfao, rofl, pmsl, wtf, omg ecttt
-kid scene kids get drunk on parks, fields, anywhere secluded. or if they're older they'll have got bored of drinking and get stoned instead.
-sometimes hate Fall out boy and mcr.
-Paramore are gathering a lot of scene fans.
everyone is individual in their own ways, even if they do all wear extensions, dye their hair many colours, wear tight jeans and wear eyeliner.
even though scene, emo and indie are kind of the same,
scene kids and indie kids seem to retaliate towards abuse,
whereas emos keep themselves to themselves.

I love how some people are like "i bet you all who hate scene kids were just rejected by your local scene group"
and i know through that whole thing scene kids are trying to defend themselves, but it makes you seem like even more of a stuck up bitch than previously assumed.
To me a scene kid is (generally..not always) some suburban kid pretending to be emo, but in actuallity their biggest problem is that they have no ACTUAL problems.
they think they're about the music, but they're not. they're about looking cool by pretending to be into the style of music that is "cool." they're all about fashion and criticize those who don't have the right style. they pretend to like hardcore/punk music. but if that were the case they wouldn't give two shits about what anyone else was wearing, that's what true punk rock is all about. it's a pathetic attempt at nonconformity, but they are just completely ruining the concept. it's not anarchy if EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT. they tend to love bands like paramore, escape the fate, boyslikegirls, panic! at the disco, fall out boy..etc etc and they think these bands are punk. i will admit that these are good bands, but they are far from punk..or hardcore.
i suggest every proud scene kid listen to Admit It!!! by Say Anything. It's about you. They're making fun of YOU.
there have been enough examples of scene kids given. most are pretty dead on.
