A gamer who overestimates their gaming abilities thinking that they are a "pro gamer". Usually found in negative steam reviews in hard games such as Cuphead, Celeste etc. While these people could just turn on assist mode they instead write a negative review which helps nobody.
John definitely has pro gamer syndrome, he's such a noob but thinks he's a gaming god.
A so-called "gnome gamer" is a human being likely not to take part in social interaction and is much more present in their own comfortable gaming space.
A: Yo bro, I just did a sub 50 Inferno on OSRS (Oldschool Runescape).
B: Damn bro, you're a true gnome gamer!
Gamer Taboos are the backbone of the average gamer's life. If but one of these are broken, the gamer will never live up to his previous peak again. The Gamer Taboos are as follows:
1. Gamers may not speak to women
2. Gamers must avoid basic hygiene at all costs
3. Gamers may not traverse within 50 ft (~15 meters) of grass, unless financially necessary (Family related instances are not allowed, unless you are Vin Diesel in the flesh.)
4. Gamers must go to sleep at a time past midnight
5. Don't use Reddit (Use of Reddit for valuable information is allowed.)

Gamer 2 - "Nah bro, don't do it; that's one of the Gamer Taboos."
