transfering college credits

it is amazingly difficult to transfer credits. Out of genuine concern when picking a school, go where your interests are, since "it's easier if you never have to 'return' credits than to fight with the receipt." info that truthfully support this claim includes:

1. If at your original school, you took ellective credits such as art, you are a bit screwed. "Art credits" --foo-foo! When you transfer, "Real" schools don't want them and you will probably stay in college longer.. costing more money.

2. When you are going to have to reveal that you're changing plans, colleges don't like students who don't know exactly what they want or students who have been stringing them along and they aren't stupid, they can see right through you.

3. If the school you transfer to is even a tad more expensive, (sometimes, there are transfer fees if not, what is said after this is still very applicable,) then even if the credits transfer, you could be paying thousands extra a semester for nothing.

I thought I was slick when I went to GENERIC Unniversity when I got instate for claiming I loved Sculpting.. I thought I could get my foundation credits and save money by transfering college credits. I was wrong and I know make sculptured center pieces for the Olive Garden.

Union College

The 30th choice school for the bottom of the high school class. If you repeated two years in private school and still ranked in the bottom of your senior class, this is the place for you. An acceptance rate of over 60% (100% if you are full pay), and a yield of less than 10%, EVERYBODY GETS IN because nobody wants to come here. Absolute backwater. Everybody drinks heavily because they can't believe they wasted high school on drugs, alcohol, and Facebook so they ended up here as the last gasp blowhole that would accept them. About as epic a fail as it gets after high school. Nearly useless degree - Hoping for supermarket meat departments as reach jobs upon graduation. Oh, yeah, lovely location to go to school...NOT!!!

Union College senior No. 1: I'm going to work at Walmart as a sales associate when I graduate, baby! Yeah, buukuu bucks!!
Union College senior No. 2: Way to Union College that job, bro! I could only get a job at Walgreens.
Union College senior No. 3: I got you both beat...I Union Colleged a job at Dunkin' Donuts makin' lattes!!

Texas A & M College

Texas A&M. a.k.a: aTm, TAMU or Aggy. Is a large Universtiy located in Bryan-College Station, Tx. The school has an enrollment of 50,000 and the population of its base metro area is around 100,000.

KEY POINTS:

1. Good academics.

2. Very poor social skills by the general population. Tends to be populated by geeks and dorks.

3. Fan base has been described as delusional in terms of expectations of sports and its own importance.

4. Huge sprawling ugly campus. NO UNIFORMITY in its architecture. The buildings are a mishmash or styles and era's. No message or theme. A dog architecturely speaking compared to either UT or especially Texas Tech. However, aTm has great live oaks.

5. Obnoxious Alums. As students Aggies or generally good but dorky but once graduating they morph into self absorbed, arrogant, chest pound tools. IF you hire them note they make good back room employees as long as they do not have to deal with clients or vendors.

6. Homebody students: Aggies like to stay close to home. Close to mom and dad which is fine. Aggies tend to be conformist and easily swayed to join cults.

Out going perspective student evaluating Texas A & M College: WTF !!!.

Dorky perspective student: "Look mom every one here wears high waters and white socks". "Yes little Jimmy you will fit right in."

Independent non conforming type perspective student: "What tools"

Momma's boy: "and mom I can see you every weekend !!!"
