Rule 35

Peace is good for business - Ferengi Rule of Acquisition Rule 35. Often confused with Rule 34, which states that war is good for business.

Quark corrected Lt. Dax on how Rule 35 was that peace was good for business, not Rule 34 as she previously believed.

Rules of Cringe

There has been a lot of discussion on what cringe videos are okay to mock and which are not. These rules clear this up and must be reviewed before making fun of cringe.

Rules of Cringe
Rule 1: If powerful or can take it, mocking is allowed.
Rule 2: If harmful to others or society, mocking is allowed.
If neither apply, mocking is not allowed.

Rule 43B

Ironically, the more beautiful, pure and innocent something is, the greater the need to make porn of it...

Person B: Hell no I refuse!

Person A: Wait why?

Person B: because rule 43a

Person A: ahhh but it's porn so it's rule 43b :)

Person B: Damn...

Rule 371

Internet rule declaring that if it exists you can jean it. Typically done by making it out of denim or adding something made of denim then changing the first sound to J- effectively making it a portmanteau of jean and the original word.

If the words starts with a consonant sound, it is swapped for a j. A j gets added to the front if it starts with vowel. Exceptions exist.

Two examples of rule 371 in action:

His jorts are hot.

My jarger keeps my wire from fraying.

college rule

Ten minutes. The acceptable time you should wait for the start of a meeting, conference call, or even for a friend to show up. You should allow ten minutes for the key people or person to show up. If they do not then you can leave or move along with your life.

We all showed up to that meeting, but Bob who organized the thing wasn't there. We gave it the college rule and then left for lunch early. He can reschedule if it is important.

Hey Bob, I was there at the subway station on time and applied the college rule. I couldn't wait all day for you.
