A slang phrase referring to a stinky series of actions, more commonly used within Fortnite to describe a player using stink grenades.
The phrase is entirely incoherent.
It originated within in-game voice chats for the Fortnite game mode Llama Wars describing a player who used a large number of stink grenades to annoy other players, from there it spread to other lobbies and game modes.
Soft Mode is a state where the person is more fragile and you have to be more careful when speaking to them
Person 1: Why are you more fragile than usual?
Person 2: I’m in soft mode
