A period of time where a teen or a pre-teen changes physically and/or mentally. It's mostly influenced by today's music and celebrities. Along with their insecurity, they struggle to find friends and when they finally do-their friends are equally as bad role-models for them.
The signs of a teenage phase are:
* Extreme oversensitivity
* Using a lot of curse words
* A dramatic change in appearance
* A dramatic change in interest
* Going against everything even though they're wrong
* Insecurity about sexual orientation
* Dramatic moodswings
* Extreme loss of interest in activity's
* Making up excuses for everything
* An extreme ego inflation
* Increased physical violence
* Insecurity about body, foods, etc.
* More prone to self-harm due to feeling low (hormonal imbalance)
* Extremely nervous around the other sex
* An urge to be the alpha in all relationships
* An overuse of technological devices
* Becoming unsocial
* Confused about basically everything, life, family, friends etc
**Note that these signs are what we all suffer from time to time, however in a teenage phase these signs occur in extremes and frequently**
Person 1: Look at Sarah, she's completely changed over the summer.
Person 2: Yeah, she used to wear fashionable clothing, now she's just so ... emo.
Person 1: Yup, must be going through a teenage phase. I'm lucky we won't go through one.
Person 2: Haha, I know right? We're awesome.
Example 2:
Mother: Open the door, Billy!
Billy: NO, I'LL HAVE MY ROCK MUSIC AS LOUD AS I WANT. IT'S GREENDAY!
Mother: But Billy, I just want to talk!
Billy: *Continues playing loud music in his emo room*
Father: It's alright dear, it's just a teenage phase, it won't last forever.

the feeling of overwhelming lust and obsession for someone that you often times are simply convincing yourself that you have, even though these feelings may not be real or as intense as you are playing them out to be; an all consuming chase for another that seems superficial and never ending.

Basically the high school of Reddit. Known for cyclical posts, including selfie threads, kik threads, "favorite user" threads, posts by those seeking relationship help, and Mod Monday threads, which are generally seen by only a few users. The community is accepting, but it's very hard to become popular or even "known." In order to do so, a user must post or comment many times a day. Another good way to become popular is by being a photogenic girl in the selfie threads. /r/teenagers is strange in that it embraces social awkwardness, much like certain regions of tumblr.
"Hey, why weren't you at the party yesterday?"
"Oh, I decided to stay home and kik with my /r/teenagers friends instead."

Teenage Frames are a feral rock n roll band formed in 1996. The band is Frankie Delmane-Vocals/Songwriting & Eric Vegas-Guitar/Songwriting. The band released their debut CD, More Songs, Less Music in 1997. The band has appeared on The Jenny Jones Show, as well as Chicago's local hit tv show Chic-A-Go Go. The band's original drummer Jim Holiday left in 2008 to pursue online sales. Ted Ansani, originally of power pop band Material Issue, served as bassist from 1996 to 1998, and then in 2000. Ted Lowis, of power pop band Monkey Chuck, played with the band from 1998-1999, appearing on the band's sophmore release 1% Faster (1999.) The band did a tour of Spain in 1997, as well as the United States, and England/Scotland in Winter of 2000. From 2001-2007, the band released 4 EPs- "Kingsize Sessions," "Let's Break Up!," "Junkie Logic," and "Glamorous Trash." The band then did 3 tours up the West Coast. The band has plans to release another EP in 2011, entitled "Armband Manifesto."

The awkward and uncontrollable pubescent condition of genital arousal at the most inconvenient or inappropriate moments.
This does occur in post-pubescent males, and is still referred to as 'Teenage Boner'.
1) When you are sitting on a bus and you get a boner for no reason (or because there is a good looking girl staring at you) and you have to get off the bus at the next stop, but because of your raging hard-on you have wait for a few stops for the teenage boner to go down.
2) You get a teenage boner in class just before dismissal.
