Perm Ban

Perm is a short hand for permanent, thus, a "Perm Ban", as opposed to its counterpart "Temp Ban" (Temporary), is a fixed banishment of a substance, action or a person from a certain area.

In the cyberworld, and particulary in games, it is common to place such a life-time exile on individuals who break the place's rules.

In the game SubSpace, which predates the game Infantry (as its correct name was prior to being renamed Infantry Online by its current owner SOE), was made by the same creators and was one of the first online only massively multiplayer games on the Internet as well, the distinction came to be whereas casual interruptive players would be placed on a short-period banished for a certain duration whilest the heavy offenders (cheaters and the such) would've been foreever blocked from returning to the game never to show their face again (although, security measures are always somewhat bypassable by various means).

Ban Apartheid

When high-GDP countries often sans scientific basis would unitedly react irrationally or paranoiacally, by banning travelers from a developing country, where the allegedly deadliest variant of Covid-19 has been caught, which may escape the protection of any WHO-approved vaccinesβ€”when their economic supremacy can afford them to act selfishly with quasi-zero penalty in return.

Imagine if the omicron variant were discovered in the UK or the US instead of South Africa, it’s unlikely that most Western and some Asian countries would implement a travel ban on the natural resources-rich nation within hours of the official announcement of the discovery of the mutantβ€”like vaccine apartheid, doesn’t their quick action characterize ban apartheid?

PewDie-Ban

This is a term used by PewDiePie or Felix when he/she got terminated on Roblox. Felix mentioned it once in a video than deleted it. As usual, Felix's fans rage over Felix's Roblox account termination so they spread 'Sub 2 PewDiePie' all over Roblox & got banned for it. The unthinkable happened one day, Roblox unbanned Felix's Roblox account. Everyone was so happy in the end. They even didn't commit sub to 'Arcimela' who write this definition.

Person 1: Pewds got banned!!!!
Person 2: Dammit PewDie-Ban!!!
Roblox: Oh Yeah Yeah

lifetime ban

When the doorman or owner of a nightclub forces you to leave the premises and bars you from ever returning.

I'm not allowed in that club. They gave me a lifetime ban, after I knocked out the bouncer.
