crappy emo "band". ok, they have one good song('helena'); and that song is overplayed just like 'i'm not ok'; and i'm sick of hearing it every time i turn on the tv/radio. now i hate it. whats so great about these guys. they're just the same as taking back sunday(crap) and the used(sucks). and why do ya'll(mcr fans) think that gerard way is "hott". he looks like a ugly old witch. how are mcr punk? their lyrics are emo people. you wanna here real punk? than listen to Rancid. they're punk. and the bands compare them to are better than mcr. greard can't sing for shit. and hes such a fag. kissing bert from the used. you probably listen to mcr just 'cause your friends like 'em; or 'cause you saw them on MTV. if so, then you know what you are. i've heard lots of their songs; and their "music" really isn't that good.

A pretty damn good band. They are hated because they are not quite pop but not quite punk so they dont fit well with the teeny boppers but arent hardcore enough to be listened to by true punks (not the pseudopunks).
I'm surprised MCR made it to MTV.

MCR is made up of five men, all of them very tallented individuals who are loved all across this and other countries.
-Gerard Way (lead vocals)
-Ray Toro (lead guitar)
-Frank Iero (rhythm guitar)
-Mikey Way (bass)
-Bob Bryar (drums)
Born and bred in New Jersy, these five have become a sensation across America. With 3 albums out, a DVD out, and another soon to come, there is no doubt that MCR is maing a definate impression on the world.
As for the people who call them 'emo', or yet worse 'emo posers', they should see that MCR is NOT EMO, and DOESN'T WANT TO BE EMO. MCR is its own genre, rock combined with alternitave and a thousand other musical styles thrown in and somehow being masterfully and beautifully exicuted.
MCR may be classified by people as 'losers' and 'fags'. Well, all I have to say to those people is FUCK YOU.
MCR is an inspiration, and definately my favorite band of all time.

The best band ever. Their image is getting darker and they have an obession with death. Although they get alot of shit about it they are definately not emo, id say "Screamo" or "Post Hardcore". Nothing like softcore bands (good charlotte, blink-182, simple plan).
Check Out "Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge" by "My Chemical Romance" Now! Its the best cd ever made.

i would like to point out one thing. i am not a person who hates all pop music and listens to nigger music, i like band and appreciate any band who has talent and all i have to say about this sorry excuse for music is that it sucks ass. if you emo fags would just listen to some desent emo, not this new "post hardcore" bullshit you would realise what you'd wasted so much of you time listening to. uninspiring crap is what it is and always will be.
