Groove metal (also known as post-thrash or power groove) is a derivative form of thrash metal that is played at a moderate pace and places a greater emphasis on 'groove' and syncopation. This style was popularized in the early 1990s by the bands Prong and Pantera.
Lamb of God are my favorite groove metal band.
Performance choreographed by a band, choir, or dance group to be done in a public setting with no prior warning to the bystanders. The goal is to get in, perform, and get out anonymously. Usually filmed and posted to the internet via You Tube.
Grab your camera- Nate's band is going to throw down a groove grenade in Time Square!
An eternal hell hole used to test your mental sanity breaking point.
Today class, we are going to have Luv 2 Groove come in.
And you can dance
For inspiration
Come on
I'm waiting
Get into the groove
Boy, you've got to prove
Your love to me, yeah
Get up on your feet, yeah
Step to the beat
Boy, what will it be?
Music can be such a revelation
Dancing around, you feel the sweet sensation
We might be lovers if the rhythm's right
I hope this feeling never ends tonight
Only when I'm dancing can I feel this free
At night, I lock the doors, where no one else can see
I'm tired of dancing here all by myself
Tonight, I wanna dance with someone else
Get into the groove
Boy, you've got to prove
Your love to me, yeah
Get up on your feet, yeah
Step to the beat
Boy, what will it be?
Gonna get to know you in a special way
This doesn't happen to me every day
Don't try to hide it, love wears no disguise
I see the fire burning in your eyes
Only when I'm dancing can I feel this free
At night, I lock the doors, where no one else can see
I'm tired of dancing here all by myself
Tonight, I wanna dance with someone else
Get into the groove
Boy, you've got to prove
Your love to me, yeah
Get up on your feet, yeah
Step to the beat
Boy, what will it be?
Yeah
Live out your fantasy here with me
Just let the music set you free
Touch my body, and move in time
Now I know you're mine (you've got to)
Get into the groove
Boy, you've got to prove
Your love to me, yeah
Get up on your feet, yeah
Step to the beat
Boy, what will it be?
Only when I'm dancing can I feel this free
At night, I lock the doors, where no one else can see
I'm tired of dancing here all by myself
Tonight, I wanna dance with someone else
Live out your fantasy here with me
Just let the music set you free
Touch my body, and move in time
Now I know you're mine
Now I know you're mine
Now I know you're mine
Now I know you're mine
Now I know you're mine
You've got to
Get into the groove
Boy, you've got to prove
Your love to me, yeah
Get up on your feet, yeah
Step to the beat
Boy, what will it be? (Yeah)
Got to
Get into the groove
Boy, you've got to prove
Your love to me
Get up on your feet, yeah
Step to the beat
Boy, what will it be?
You've got to
Get into the groove
Boy, you've got to prove
Your love to me, yeah
Get up on your feet, yeah
Step to the beat
Boy, what will it be?
You've got to
Get into the groove
Boy, you've got to prove
Your love to me

Disapproving of or shaming people for going out to party. Mainly because of the lack of money to join them or for simply being socially awkward.
Groove shaming is so weird. You want to be congratulated for not going out?
When you're running, and the song you're listening to on your Ipod is really good, so you bust a move when no one's looking.
Tony goes for his morning jog, and is listening to an upbeat pop song. When it gets to the chorus, he swerves his head from side to side, attempting the Runner's groove.
