Normie Buffer

When a cultural marker, identity, or practice of a subculture is in a buffer which then reaches the mainstream and is adopted by normies, despite their initial misunderstanding.

This typically takes 2 to 4 years although appears to be getting quicker.

Now that skinny jeans, beards, tattoos and craft beers have been through the Normie Buffer, they're no longer associated with the subcultures that normalized them.

Buffer Food

An amount of fast food exceeding the groups already ridiculously large late night drive through order. It's necessary to ensure that noone's munchies are left unfulfilled.

"Dude, I know there's only 4 of us and 10 cheeseburgers, 8 large fries and 6 milkshakes should be enough but I better order some buffer food just in case."

Fanny Buffer

Someone proclaiming to be straight, but shows multiple signs of being homosexual. Signs include, but are not limited to: Touching of the genitalia, dry humping, proclaiming that other guys are hott (then immediately saying they're not gay), and unusual physical and emotional attachment to the fanny buffer's straight male friends, rather than a spouse or lover. Derived from the words Fanny, regarding the anus loving nature of the Fanny Buffer, and Buffer, regarding the futile attempt to show one is not homosexual, although "all signs point to yes".
