keys cow

Actually translates to mga susi baka in filipino (several sussy bakas), rather than susi baka (if translated word for word that is). However google translate is bad and only works for keys cow rather than key cow

Random guy who does a little trolling: translate keys cow to filipino lolll
Filipino: that isn't funny because actually you're saying there's several sussy bakas and this is private chat so you are key cow too

Jirai Kei

Jirai Kei (εœ°ι›·η³»), meaning "landmine-type", is a Japanese slang term used in a derogatory manner to label someone as "ticking time bomb". Just like with a real landmine, they are not recognisable as such until making a wrong step that's triggering an explosion.

Below, the main characteristics of a landmine-type:
- emotional instability
- attention seeker
- easily triggered
- manipulative
- obsessive

Since 2020, the term has also become the name of a stereotype and character trope along the lines of "yandere", which attributes the previously mentioned traits to girls who wear dark alternative fashion styles.

"There are many girls who might look Jirai Kei at first glance, but in truth that's just stereotyping them as a real landmine isn't visible."

Key Club

Key Club is a service organization, and is the oldest and largest high school service organization in the world. It is entirely student led, and has many levels of organization.

It is impossible to lump Key Club into a convenient stereotype, as its members are very diverse: there are clubs in America, Canada, Jamaica, and even Malaysia!

Like any club, there is a good chunk of members that are participating only for expediency, but that is why they rarely ever rise past the club level, as in accordance to the β€œPeter Principle.” And so with that in mind, Key Club should not be judged by members that do it solely for college-applications.

On the club level, Key Clubs help the community, be it through tutoring younger students, helping run bingo night at the senior center, or making houses for the homeless.

On an large scale, Key Club International and many districts fundraise for other organizations, such as Grassroots Soccer United, a program devoted to combating AIDS in Africa, UNICEF, one of the most recognized children’s organization in the world, and the Children’s Miracle Network, a nonprofit that benefits hospitalized kids and purchases up-to-date equipment, trains staff, and conducts life-saving research.

All in all, as general as a statement can be, Key Club is an organization that follows many causes, and encourages high schoolers to get involved in the community.

"Hey, are you going to go to the Key Club meeting today?"

"Heeeeeeell Yeah!"

"What about your girlfriend? I thought she wanted to hang out afterschool!"

"Oh, I broke up with her so I could have more time to do COMMUNITY SERVICE!!!"

visual kei

Brand of Japanese rock music where band members (mostly men) wear elaborate make up and stage costumes, much of the time crossdressing. The "kei" is japanese for style of type, meaning "visual style music" The music ranges from 80's-esque goth rock, to heavy metal to punk and usually some combo of the 3. Most bands are indies (independant or on indies labels) but a few make it to major labels such as Malice Mizer, Raphael, and Dir En Grey. Also seen written "VK" or sometimes incorrectly lumped in with the catch all word "Jrock", meaning all japanese rock music.

D'istray is a visual kei band.
Cure Records and Marder Suitcase are indies VK labels.
