A wolf that has been hand-raised for the sole reason of photographed for calendars. Usually, calendar wolves look much healthier than their wild cousins, and eat not from freshly killed prey, but a bowl with their name on it. Could also refer to a disingenuous person, or a poseur.
The wolf looks so healthy in that photo because he's a calendar wolf.

A Canadian indie rock band with Arcade Fire connections whose first record was produced by none other than Issac Brock of Modest Mouse fame. As if all of those connections to famous people were not enough, their debut album, "Apologies to the Queen Mary", became overhyped by the online Media Machine as the Next Big Thing(r).
Leaving the indie snobbery behind, they are a damn good band who wrote some extremely good songs that are currently stuck in my head
Wolf Parade is another part of the great '80s revival going on in contemporary indie rock.

Wolf roleplay is were you play a personified wolf in a made up world in a made up life, usually on roleplay sites or forums.
Often times, the sites have several packs with complex hierarchies, normally led by a pair of characters a member plays.
Characters in wolf roleplay often have strange markings and powers and many times the site takes place in a place were wolves don't normally live. Most of the times, the wolf in this roleplay is the grey wolf.
