Fake Email Job

Gainful, probably fully remote employment where your only responsibility is to respond to emails. Fake email jobs can be accomplished whilst drinking at a bar, or from a beach in the Bahamas. It's not a fake email job if you actually contribute directly to the company's product or service, nor if you hold an executive role where your decisions have a real impact on lots of people. Fake email jobs are more in line with middle-management roles.

Enrique used to be a software developer, but after five years at IBM he got promoted to a fake email job and had a daughter. Now his whole job consists of sending pithy emails between diaper changes and trips to the park with his family.

but Hunter Biden's emails

The wingnut response to any attempt to bring up Trump's four-year war on the American people. Basically "but her emails" except dumber.

"Donald Trump, the failson of a millionaire, has been doing everything he can to actively sabotage and steal the election for himself and the many members of his family who serve in his administration"

Zero Email Bounce

To achieve 0 emails in your inbox. I believe it means to have "bounced up against zero emails". When you achieve Zero Email Bounce, your inbox is not growing out of control, with unhandled stuff. When you achieve Zero Email Bounce your stress level goes down.

I achieved zero email bounce within the first two days after I started using the "Getting Things Done" inbox-management method.

email ping-pong

"Email ping-pong" is the act of email correspondence between two people getting out of hand or control.

It usually starts of with a comment, opinion or observation that becomes misunderstood or misinterpreted by the recipient. The recipient then responds with comment, opinion or observation...and so on. It is not uncommon for participants to ping-pong 10, 20 times or more before they realise they haven't got a clue what started it all in the first place!

The act of email ping-pong might start quite innocently!

Ping - Dear ^+*%$#,I noticed blah, blah, blah...
Pong - Dear *ยฃ*'@}$, As you should be aware... (how dare you tell me what I should do)
Ping - Dear ^+*%$#, I am perfectly aware... (Get your head out of your arse)

CHECK YOU EMAIL

A recommendation to check your email.

The typographical error, "YOU" instead of "YOUR," comes from a well-known email that Bill Urquhart, a name partner of the law firm Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, sent to the employees of his firm. The subject line of his email read: "CHECK YOU EMAILS OFTEN."

We're going to be busy this weekend preparing for trial, so be sure to CHECK YOU EMAIL.
