In truth this ring origin comes from cattle as a means of controlling them. Taking on this piercing states that you self proclaim yourself as cattle, sheep, or are a waste of flesh for breeding.

males can diy-pierce their balls with any instrument that works. although not advised, one could simply ram a screwdriver into his balls to pierce them.
