I know I'm a boy but I have friends that refer to themselves as "skater girls".
First of all a REAL skater girl won't refer herself as a "skater girl" because they don't want other people to label her. If you do skate and your a girl you have am actual board and you know how to actually do something, not falling off the next 2 seconds. Skater girls won't try to make it a big deal that they skate. If you have an Instagram and you label yourself as a skater girl, your just embarrassing yourself.
A FAKE skater girl will buy a penny board and pretend they skate. They will also like to label themselves as a skater girl.
Real skater girl: hey!, do you wanna go and skate one time?
Fake skater girl: sure when?
Real skater girl: maybe tomorrow! In practicing my backside 180.
Fake skater girl: backside what??
Real skater girl: *walls away ashamed*

Girls that can actually skate. They do not just go to skate parks to sit on their ass all day, they actually try and do tricks. They are not sluts that just want sex with a skaterboy. Likes to hang out with other skater dudes to do stupid shit all day. Knows the parts of a skateboard by heart. Basically a typical skater that is a girl.

See GDI... These are (mostly girls) who hate the Southern Prep style, and call people basic. Yet this is the most common fashion trend in most high schools. The fugly style consists of wack ass skinny jeans, and anything that can be found at your local vans store, and hollister. The people who usually wear this style are the kids that are Mexican, and smoke pot while skating on a skate board. Also see punk
Man the skater style is sooo freaking ugly. Most of my Mexican relatives dress like this but I’m glad to be preppy! Greek life 4 life!

A girl who skates but also looks after herself. she wears the skate gear but looks damn sexy in it, and doesn't dress like a guy while she does it. she has a care-free attuide and lives life the way she wants
That girl is smoking hot and looks to amazing to skate, she doesn't judge or make fun. she is not looking like a guy.That girl is a total skater babe.

Someone who goes on Inline skates either for Artistic skating, speed skating or (most comonly) Agressive skating (sorry if I missed any out).
I really don't get why so many skaters have a problem with inline skaters. I do both. Stereotpically we both listen to the same music, wear the same clothes and are discriminated against by townies. The skate park's big enough for the both of us. I admit, inline sakting is easier than skating for the most part, but personally I found dropping in on a quarter for the first time a lot more nerve racking on my inlines than my board. You can jump off a board but on inlines you've just got to keep going. They are both good, fun extreme sports.
Why can't we all just get along????

when the skate park or skate spot is packed full of other skaters making it hard to do tricks/throw runs
SKATER A: Dude this is ridiculous, I've waited 15 minutes and only ollied the three stair once!

a poser skater is someone who has a skateboard, but never rides it. they make fun of beginners, when in reality, the beginners are better than them. poser skaters are usually rich preps just skateboarding bacause the devil (avril lavigne) says its cool. they think their better than real skateboarders just cause they have a board
