Man 1: Hey do you like this man?
Woman 1: Yeah he looks cute is there a catch?
Man 1: No he’s just trans.
Woman 1: I admit he looks cute but I am Super Straight so I wouldn’t date him personally.
Man 1: Isn’t that transphobic?
Woman 1: No because I am super straight and I personally wouldn’t date him because I like men that are born men.

Its a preference for liking the opposite gender that didnt have a sex or gender change for example if your a trans person and you ask a person if they want to date you and they respond with im sorry im super straight
i prefer the opposite gender without a sex change and that makes me super straight

A term used by cis heterosexual individuals when specifying that they will only sexually or romantically pursue another cis person of the opposite gender/sex. Perhaps it is because they only date to marry and want to start a family with who they marry, are religious, or are just sexually attracted to the characteristics and genitals of the opposite sex. However, it comes across as ignorant because
1. when you’re straight it is assumed that you are only attracted to the opposite sex and nobody in everyday society would ridicule you for it.
2. this term is also used as a dog-whistle by people who genuinely hate trans people.
Lady 1: So what was your response when he asked you out?
Lady 2: I had to politely turn him down and I let him know that we could still be friends. I told him that I identify as super straight and explained how it’s ideal for me to date for marriage and have children. It didn’t go as planned... he said he understood, but he had a shocked and heartbroken expression.
Lady 1: It’s not that he was shocked by your preference, but that you used “super straight” which is a common dog whistle used by transphobic people.
Lady 2: I wish I had known. He must’ve felt unsafe.

Person 1: No, she's a girl.
Person 2: But she was born a dude. I could never, I'm super straight.
Person 1: She literally has bottom surgery, how tf would you know. You would only not date a trans women other than genetailia preference solely due to the fact they're trans. You realize you're invalidating her gender, right? That's transphobia dumb shit.
Person 2: She's literally a dude, I'm not gay. And I'm not transphobic.
Person 1: She's not a man, she's a woman. You saying she's a man IS transphobia.

Alright, lemme clear some of this out for you guys. Straight Edge is just a matter of opinion. We are a group of people that would rather go to a hardcore show than get shitfaced at some lame ass club. As far as smoking cigarettes goes, any self-respecting person shouldn't buy them because you're paying to destroy your own lungs. And drugs, well that's the touchy subject. Most of us choose to abstain from drugs because of what they've done in our personal life.
But, before you call us out and say we're queers for out beliefs. Just remember, you're the people that are wasting your time bad-mouthing a group of people on the internet.
(A kid who says he's straight edge and then goes and smokes and drinks is not, I repeat not straight edge. Believe me, we hate those guys just as much as you do.)

Person B : Nah, I'm cool.
Person A : What's up man? You don't drink, you don't smoke, don't do any drugs?
