A phrase often used in the show 24. Whenever something is going to occur "Within the hour" it means it's happening THIS episode and it to be taken seriously. Has roughly the same meaning when used in real life.
Person A: That does it. I'm going to his house and working things out. Violently.
Person B: When?
Person A: ... Within the hour.

(n.) A time when almost nobody has any reason to be out. These times usually occur at night, but may happen at any time, depending on the day. It's like the doldrums of the day.
Examples of witching hours include:
2 P.M. (Workers have eaten lunch already, schoolchildren haven't been let out yet, and cutters get bored and go home.)
3 A.M. (Parties have ended, most people have either picked up a girl and are riding the night out or have gone home.)
5 P.M on sunday (Nobody is coming back from work, but everything is closed, and schoolchildren are finishing their homework.)

Unlike the regular power hour where you take 60 beer shots in one hour. This power hour was brought up with a bunch of hooligans that play rugby. This power hour consists of the nastiest hard liquor and you take one shot between 2.5 and 5 minutes depending on your tolerances. This is not for the faint of heart and will lead many to black out. Player be aware! This task can prove to be Difficult #hooliganrugby
Teammate number 1: wanna do a power hour?
