when someone combines a humble brag and a burn in the same post to simultaneously throw shade at a common enemy while “subtly” taking the time to show off.
“I just finished the entire bar $7000 bar prep course three weeks early - and they had the nerve to ask for a tip?! Fuck Corporations and tip culture.”
“Sick humble drag bro”
Disrespecting someone in a purposely subtle fashion, in attempt to discredit the person while maintaining your own reputation as a “good guy”.
“Great dinner you made for me and my friends , my love. It was quite good for being so simplistic and hastily prepared.”
“Did you hear Guy humble dis Lori after dinner? What a douche.”

Announcing that oneself is "humble" actually makes him/ her/ them less humble. The more that one self-proclaims "humility," the less humble that person is in reality. This is the essence of a "humble person," which is represented mathematically as follows:
Level of humble = 1 - self-proclaimed humble level
Mike: *calls himself "humblemike"*
Mike's friends: "Mike clearly isn't that humble. According to the humble scale, I think his humble level just dropped to 3%"
A hybrid of the humble brag and the thirst trap, the humble trap deploys the appearance of vulnerability and authenticity in social media posts as bait for romantic or sexual conquests.
Social media post: “I’ve been trying to learn how to put contacts in, but it’s hard because my eyelashes are so long.”
Commenter: “Ok, but why are you also shirtless in this video? Is this a humble trap?”
When you are so humble, that you can actually afford to admit it without losing humble points
“Bro I did it”
“You did? That’s crazy that you can admit it.”
“Yeah I can you know I’ really humble.”
“For sure, that’s a complete humble overflow.”
Celebrated on July 2, Humble Hetero Day is a day to express your sexuality, but only if you are straight. It is the complete opposite of Gay Pride Month, Humble instead of Prideful, Straight instead of Gay, and Day instead of Month. HHD takes place soon after Gay Pride Month but has a buffer day, and July 1st was taken by Canada Day. Instead of wearing rainbow attire, one should wear a black t-shirt(void of rainbow colours), a shirt with straight lines, or a button-down and straight tie.
Person one: What’s the date?
Person two: July second.
Person one: Good thing I wore a tie, It’s Humble Hetero Day!
