I-Ready was originally a website used for torture in 2011. It would cause anxiety, depression, stress, and suicidal thoughts to the victim. However, some teachers realized that they could slack off using I-Ready instead of ACTUALLY TEACHING, so they forced their students to do long, useless, and boring lessons EVERY DAY. So, nowadays, students who use I-Ready are usually more depressed than students who don't.
Creator of the website 1: Hey, let's create a torture device and call it I-Ready!
Creator of the website 2: Good idea!
Later...
Teacher 1: I'm too lazy to do actual teaching so I'm going to make these students do I-Ready lololol such a good idea
Teacher 2: ikr
In class.
Teacher 1: do this while I play on my phone
Student 1: :(
Later...
Student 1: hey student 2 I really don't want to do I-Ready so let's commit unalive
Student 2: great idea, who even created that thing anyway
Even later
Teacher 1: Oh wow, 2 of our students committed unalive.
Teacher 2: Wow, I wondered what caused them to do that!
a bullshit website that questions your faith in humanity
i-ready is shit
A website created by the government to trick teachers into torturing their kids. The side effects of i-Ready are suicidal thoughts due to boredom. Another side effect is cringing because of how the characters try to be hip with the kids.
Teacher: How should we torture our kids on this wonderful day?
Teacher 2: I don't know, make them do 906 minutes of i-Ready?
Teacher: Great idea!
The least effective way to make a student learn, and the most effective way to make a student kill themselves
Florida: oi lets buy i-ready
Governor: Ok, but not actually, let's trick the students into moving out of Florida so they can "get away from i-ready" and when they learn it's in other states they'll kill themselves.
The Canadian version of the Emergency Alert System. Its attention tone is pure ear rape, but does its job well.
Alert Ready notified me about that tornado yesterday. Just wish the warning tone wasn't so obnoxious.
A 12 year old British youtuber who does cool videos.
I think ready to watch is a great youtuber.
The opposite of "camera-ready". Barely needing to be presentable at all, because its Walmart. Low maintenance. Wearing just sweatpants and an undershirt.
Ryan- "We're about to go to the store, so get ready."
Rachel- "Do I need to get dressed? Or are we talking walmart-ready?"
