A low-cut shirt, usually a v-neck, often with features such as one or more of the following: ruffles, sequins, lace, glitter, or other noticeable "flashy" elements. Often worn with jeans or, occasionally, a skirt, they are a figure-flattering yet relatively casual option for femmes or ladies looking to attract attention, be flirtacious, or express a mildly provocative style.
The slang appears to originate in Eastern Canada or the Maritimes.
"Are you going out with us tonight, Kate? You can borrow one of my bar tops."
Definition 1: Used to mock people that are trapped in a mental institutions, insane asylums, or schizophrenic like environments.
Definition 2: May also be used to emphasize the sheer magnitude of a flex.
Ex 1: Yo. You better prepare that ass. Wild Randy is in heat and needs to mate with another male ASAP. Vertical bar.
Ex 2: Your dad got plowed up his poop chute last night. Ask me how I know. Vertical fucking bar.
An embarrassing and mythological maneuver one claims to had performed during and altercation in which he/she/questioning had unquestionably lost but cannot accept the loss and thus claims to had performed on the true victor in a pathetic display of denial .

The blue bar that moves back and forth on some computers that tells you that a website or music selection is downloading or buffering respectively. Named after KITT, David Hasselhoff's (Michael Knight's) Pontiac Trans-Am in "Knight Rider", because of the light above the bumper that moved back and forth.
