Rap is wanna be hip hop. It sucks because all the (usually commercial android fucks) rappers rhyme about is materialsm, greed and bullshit that is promoting the decay of our culture. Why do you think there are so many wanna be pathetic nobodys wearing gunit outfits and walking with a lean? because rap rapes minds. HIP HOP is real...rap sucks.

In my opinion, rap is the least musical form of music, and requires the least talent. I have listened to many forms of rap music, and not just what gets played on mtv, and really think that the only talent that rappers have is songwriting. I feel that they would get the respect they deserve if they took the time to learn to play an instrument. 50 cent is probably one of the most famous rappers, yet he has no talent, but yet people like Yngwie Malmsteen, and Brian Carrol (Buckethead) go almost unrecognized even though they spent a shit-load of time learning to kick total ass at the guitar.

rap lovers almost never talk about other styles of music. I listen to rap almost entirely myself, but i got respect for other music styles and i wouldnt just write off your music so show some respect for others cultures.
i can perfectly understand the argument that rap is not music. (it has no melody) instead of thinking of rap as music think of it as poetry. and for the last fuckin tyme something from 50 cent is not poetry. go listen to some 2pac/dre/biggie/jay z, etc... if u want to hear some real hip hop music
if you think rap sucks so much, try writing one rap song. not just somethin like 50 cent, but i mean something real with flow and some good ryhmes. until you write a song to match something from notorious b.i.g., shut up about rap.

1. a type of entertainment in which people, generally African American, talk (or rap) about their lives, the lives of people in general, love, politics (I HATE POLITICS) and any other thing they can think of.
2. I hate Kanye West! He is one of the whiney African Americans that claims that all white people are racist. They just aren't, Kanye! You have chosen the worlds WORST COP OUT!
3. I think rap can be considered "entertainment" but not "music". Rap just isn't music.
Rap is not my kind of entertainment, but I don't hate it as much as some people on this website.
