The term used in the film King industry to refer to a clothespin. Stems from the old Hollywood film supply warehouse where the clothespins were on asile C, bin 47. Very handy tool for all aspects of filmmaking, commonly pinned to crewmember's shirts for easy accessibility.

There's nothing in chamber 47.

An alternative way of a person denying something a suspicious manner; similar to 'shifty eyes' or looking weary. This originated from the movie 'Super 8' in which, when one of the characters was asked "So you wouldn't mind if I took a look in chamber 47?", he could not respond in a civilized manner, instead looking distrustful an apprehensive.

Person 1: Hey, have you seen my bottle of Coke?
Person 2: Um. No, mate. I haven't seen it at all? Why are you asking? Why do you think I had something to do with it? I didn't drink it!
Person 1: Really? Are you sure? You seem suspicious.
Person 2: Yes! Uh.. There's nothing in chamber 47...

A.K.A.-47

A "secondary" or "colloquial" term for the "weapon of choice" among soldiers and firearm-enthusiasts alike.

Some sportsman like to try out all these new-fandangled plastic/resin-bodied target-rifles, but I always prefer da good ol' A.K.A.-47 --- it's cheap, reliable, and easy to service and get parts for.
