San Francisco accent

The over the top manner in which an openly gay person speaks. A person who can be identified as being gay through their manner of speech is said to have a San Francisco accent.

I knew he was gay the first time I spoke to him, he spoke with a San Francisco accent.

foreign accent syndrome

a condition in which a person unwittingly speaks his/her language with a foreign accent, usually due to a disease such as migraine and stroke.

After recovering from a stroke, the Englishman began talking with an Irish accent. It is a case of foreign accent syndrome.

Eastern New England Accent

An accent of English spoken in the East of New England.
The border is traditionally the Connecticut River, which separates the accents of Eastern and Western New England.

Eastern New England accents are non-rhotic while in Western New England the 'R's are pronounced everywhere.
