A religion people love to hate.
Often very backwards and confusing to people who don't take the time to fully understand it. Most simply spew on about missionaries being brainwashed, about living in Utah, and of course, have many wives. But that's not all Mormonism is, it's only the stereotypical tip of the iceberg.
As an atheist I really can't tell you all it's about but, IMO, it's mainly based on forgiveness, being the best you can, and the future of your soul.
Shame Mormon's have such a bad rep...
Typical (foolish) conception of Mormons:
"I want to be a Mormon and have 16 wives and live in Utah and never drink coffee because I have no idea what this religion is actually about!"

Mormons are the only true religion. Our church's foundation is on Jesus christ, familys, forgivness, and eternal life! The book of mormon...thats not just somemade up book, in the restore gosepel, another testament of Jesue Christ. I am mormon and im ridiculed for my religion ALL THE TIME, but the people who ridicule me only do it because they HEARD THATS WHAT WE BELIEVE OR SOMEONE TOLD THEM THATS WHAT WE BELIEVE...well guess what? it isnt true!!,and say all this stuff like we think we can become our own gods , and joseph smith, commited sexual crimes w/ teenagers?!
I dont know where u got that information from, but your be lied to!!

Mormons are by definition the church of jesus christ of latter day saints and since i am one i can give the truth. blacks were allowed to hold the divine power as you stated or priest hood but we did not give it to many until most racial prejudice subsided. think of it if you did not like african americans and they had somthing in a church that you didnt you might get mad at that church. second we do belive in three levels of heaven and no hell, if you sined you go to a sort of pergetory for punishment then you get to move on to heaven. we do not have any affiliation with polygamy what so ever. joseph smith did not steal the gold plates, joseph smith did not see the religion out of a hat, what really happened is joseph smith read James: chapter verse 5 which say if you have a question ask god and hell give you the answer so he did, he found out that all religions had partial truth but not all of it and he was chosen to bring about gods full church to the earth. he was latter visited by an angel which showed him were the gold plates were and a translating device that worked by faith. since no one at that time had enough faith to read it he was the only one. the gold plates contained the book of mormon. a history of the people of jared(the people that fled from the tower of babel)and a history of the people of lehi. it is not any way shape or form added to the bible but it is its own book.
if you find a mormon they are usually nice people who are willing to help you.

The act of copulation with a member of the Church (Cult) of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Since what they do to reproduce cannot be considered sexy, mormonizing is what they do.
Also, the act of converting someone to a mormon can be called mormonizing, because once you join, you are fucked.

We DO NOT believe green jello is a sacred food. Who in the heck came up with that??
