Slipknot is either loved or hated by the people. Its like marmite, you either love it or you hate it. I personally think that Slipknot are a great band and extremely talented, if you think otherwise, thats your opinion, not mine.

a band who have to scream and make themselves look dead to attract more fans. they could be musically talented but they have managed to completely abolish all traces of this with their reputation

1) A band who are, in case you didn't know, about to split up... Just ask Mr Jordison or the other ones who have a band and now sound so much better. Little kiddies like to think they're metal.
Remedy: listen to Agoraphobic Nosebleed.
2) A knot around your neck which will kill you if you dangle from it. Death can be anywhere from instant neck-breaking to prolongued (up to 30mins) strangulation, depending on how much you struggle.
Remedy: none, you're fucked.
