stretch the truth

Exaggerate. To say something which is not completely honest in order to make someone or something seem better or worse than it really is:

I know he has stretched the truth about how much he had helped in the project.
Don't stretch the truth on your resume.

the truth game

a game like truth or dare but without the dare because when you get past the age of 12 dares are no fun anymore because everyones done that stupid shit already. in this game its basically you take turns asking each other questions and you have to be honest usually personal questions often relating to sex or sexual things(ex.are you a virgin? how far have you gone?)

when me and jimmy were bored we played the truth game and i learned that he was not a virgin anymore

The Truth Is Out There

As stated above, it is out there, and not here. Did you really expect to find the "truth" on Urban Dictionary? Scram already.

As I stare into the stars late at night, I can say with the utmost certainty that someone or something is staring back. The truth is out there my friends, and it will no longer elude you and I.

Truth or Dare

A game played most frequently by kids, teens and young adults. To begin, a group sits together (often in a circle), and the first questioner asks "truth or dare?" to any player he/she wants in the group. If "truth" is answered, that player must honestly answer a question given, no matter how personal or embarrassing (and often related to sexual themes). If "dare" is answered, that player must complete a task given by the questioner, which is also often embarrassing or awkward. Once the player responds to the truth or completes the dare, he/she can then question another player in the group, and the cycle continues.

The overall tone of the game can differ depending on how "hardcore" the players want the questions or dares to be. Some games are denoted as "friendly" where sexual acts, nudity or over-personal questions are avoided (the best way to play if there are couples). There can also be supplemental rules as to how many truths a player can take before they must take a dare (often no more than 2 truths in a row). In some cases the game is modified to be a drinking game, where a person has to drink if they pass when chosen.

While we played Truth or Dare, we learned that John masturbates every day at his job, and Cindy had to eat expired mayonnaise out of the back of the fridge.

Iam "God... Why?"

religious truth

The concept of interpreting the Bible or other religious texts outside of a literal sense; finding the meaning that was intended behind specific stories, parables, or teachings. Generally when searching for religious truth, one takes into account the time period, the society, the audience, and the writing styles used. This allows religious scholars to understand the Koran the way the first Muslims would have, or to understand the problems and solutions outlined in one of Paul's Epistles.

Luke's Gospel is a good example of the concept of religious truth. The religious truth of Luke's Gospel is that Jesus came for all humanity, especially the poor and marginalized members of society. This is especially shown in his birth narrative, which portrays Jesus being born in a stable and sleeping in a manger. The birth narrative also shows shepherds as the first to hear the good news of Jesus' birth; shepherds were extremely low-class citizens in ancient Jewish society.
