We are country people that usually live in trailers or small houses, have lots of junk and no running vehicles in our yards. Have high knowledge of mechanics but are on a budget and fix stuff with duck tape and zip ties. Enjoy muddin, drankin beer and Mountain Dew, we spend lots of money on our trucks but their still junk, like huntin fishin shooting beer cans and ridin 4 wheelers. And always wear boots and a hat usually John Deere, catapillar or camouflage

I live in the south and let me tell you what a redneck is: A redneck is someone who thinks putting the browning symbol and the rebel flag on everything makes it seem cool. They are loud and opinionated and usually ignorant. They overuse camo and they think carhart is God's gift to the world( Carhart is pretty nice though) I'm not even trying to be offensive, I'm serious I see this everyday

Classic hallmarks of a redneck include a fetishization of oversized pickup trucks, casual racism, nationalism, nostalgia, a jingoistic US-Centric worldview, a love of low-quality booze, and a deep hatred of anything perceived as progressive, anti-American, anti-Christian, or anti-White. Rednecks are terrified of the technological, racial, social, and economic change that America is experiencing.
Rednecks like to think of themselves as down-to-earth, unpretentious, hardworking patriots. Despite their bad rap, most rednecks are very friendly hospitable people once you get to know them. They can have positive interactions with people who are not like them. Finding topics for conversation with a redneck can be difficult, but a good rule of thumb is to not bring up politics or religion.
