They start to hate people that go against their false belief, no matter how trivial... Very similar to religion amongst narrow minded bigots.

Knowledgeable Person: Yes you can, usually you will just get a higher risk surcharge.
Hillbilly Talker: Na uh, Zach the bartender (at some dive hole in the wall) said he tried to and they wouldn't let him because he is only 24.
Knowledgeable Person: Maybe that policy is specific to the rental company?
Hillbilly Talker: Nope, it's the same way everywhere.
Knowledgeable Person: How do you know? I got a rental car last year, and I'm only 24 this year...
Hillbilly Talker: That’s just the way it is. You are wrong.
Knowledgeable Person: Whatever.

when an event is so incredible and fun but tinged with a trashy, drunken and dimwitted feel of guilt or shame, it is hillbilly awesome. hillbilly awsome is usually used in reference to drinking events in pickup trucks, trailer parks, nascar or backyards with abandoned bathroom fixtures strewn about.

A game played with PVC pipes connected to make four rungs; the goal is to wrap a length of rope with balls attached to either end to one of the rungs of your opponent's PVC setup.
I was at a party this weekend and we played hillbilly golf on the lawn. Cletus lost an eye.

Outerspace hillbilly or hillbilly from outer space is a subculture of people who are apart from the southern mainstream of Rednecks, White Trash, and Urban Cowboys. They are in general southern Hipsters/Indies who are very cultured and independent along with usually bohemian, and grew up in the inner city or suburbs. They usually wear Vintage clothing, Converse, Tight, Skinny, Loose, or Ripped jeans usually dark, along with shirts that are colorful and expressive, and hats of every kind from Cowboy Hats to Fedoras and Trillbys. Their Hairstyles are their own but are usually long and messy but always clean. Their music prefrences differ greatly from Alternative country, Techno, Indie, Grunge, and many other alternative music styles but NEVER mainstream. They are also All talented, intelligant, well mannered, and liberal. And its all topped off with a southern accent.
