Simple Plan = Simpletons.
They are a whiny band that bitches about how 'horrible' and 'tragic' their life is. No one cares except for their legions of self-pitying fans who feel they can truly connect with Simpleton's 'deep' and 'inspiring' 'music'.
Perhaps the Simpletons should stop singing about the shitfullness of their lives and try the lives of the Thailand hooker, the physically abused child, the AIDS sufferer, the orphaned refugee boy and the wrongly accused. There's something true, real and honestly painful to sing about.

To all them haters saying kids with financially stable families have no reason to be sad GO TO HELL! Depression is a brain condition, you don't have to be homeless. Yes their lucky, but no, they CAN sing about how sad they are cuz you're not them so you don't know if their life suxx or not!

Any plan involving general disappointment and an early end to the night.
Participants will often be unaware they are involved in a Sam Plan until they are at home eating Hungry Jacks, wondering why it was such a disappointing night.
Eg. 1
"I know, lets go to E55, it'll be sweet!!!"
"Nah man, that sounds like a Sam Plan, think i might grab some HJ's and go home."
Eg. 2
"Hey, lets go to (insert crap bar nobody has ever heard of)!!!"
"Ummm... ok."
......10 minutes later......
"This is shit, fuckin Sam Plan!! I'm going to HJ's".
Eg. 3
"This bar is shit, why are we here?"
"Sam Plan!"
