Like a mid-life crisis, except you're in middle school. Typically had in 7th grade, but can occur throughout middle school.
"Daniel, I think I'm going through a middle school crisis..."
aka. Mid-youth crisis.
Refers to the numerous personal crises brought on by entering adulthood and being expected to become a responsible, productive member of society. Characterized by first gray hairs/wrinkles, excessive drinking, hanging out with people who are younger in order to feel younger again only to end up looking creepy, extreme fear of all of these things.
Wow, paying back these student loans is really a bitch...they are not helping my quarter life crisis one bit...time to put on my tie and go sit in my cube and play solitaire, I mean, work.

You have massive diaherra and while you are in the middle of wiping your ass. Someone walks in on you while you are wiping and you are shocked they saw that. Which would be your mid-wipe crisis.

This is when bomb threats, food fights, fist fights, etc. happens at school after a week or more of break.
Tarpon Springs Middle School had a post-break crisis when the princple took the entire week off after Spring Break last year, but it was a lot of fun.

when a person (more commonly a man than a woman, but either can experience this fate) begins to question their purpose and direction in life and oftentimes begins to regress back to their teenage years in the way they think and act. they usually are laughed at by their peers because they make themselves look silly by acting much younger than they actually are.
"He's 50 and just bought a red Corvette. Is he having a mid life crisis?"

The situation regarding the realization that the care-free years of life are gone and repetitive responsibility lies ahead; occurs mainly during the pre-job, post-collegiate years.

The psychological strain that is encountered on one's 25th birthday. Subject often realizes that he/she has lived a quarter century and still hasn't done anything consequential.
I think Roger is going through a quarter life crisis. He's been talking about going back to college so he can actually get a real job someday.
