giant throw-in

This is a gift which only a few professional football players have which allows them to throw the ball over impressively long distances into the opposition penalty area. It in some ways similar to a corner as it allows the team to push their tall defenders up into the penalty area to try and score a goal. Giant throwers often come from Scandinavia, giving them the title Scandinavian Straight.

(a throw-in is given)
Bob: YESSSSSS!
Carlos: How are you so excited?
Bob: Oh you don't understand, this lad has got an incredible giant throw-in.

Throwing a Track

When you are talking in or in front of a group of people and you make a good point, but either nobody was listening until then or they don't understand.

Context:
When a tank throws a track, it takes a long time to repair. It is also very annoying and happens relatively easily. In a conversation, throwing a track can take a while to recover from.

Keeping calm before going on stage can help keep you from throwing a track.

Throw a Benny (Bennie)

To lose ones temper in a fit of uncontrollable rage.
Came from the murder of a person with the family name of Bennie killed in Corsham Wilshire on the 12th June 1982.

Very sad story indeed, I always take a moment when walking past the house on Priory Street.

It didn’t take long until the kids in my school started saying ” Throw a Benny (Bennie) ” axtually spelled ”Bennie” as that was the family name.
Throw meaning ”to do or act in a certain way” in local slang.
