Originating in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) by a group of skateboarders with knacks for art, gaming, and music. Much like Thug Life often symbolizing Tupac Shakur, Slug Life is to be taken as a title as well as lifestyle. Instead of the thug lifestyle originating in New York through hustling, gang violence, etc, Slug Life is the inner-city/urban lifestyle of skateboarders, artists, and underground or independent musicians of any genre or style. Often seen as S.L.U.G. and other variations, through graffiti, clothing, design, and more.
The kids down the block just soaked the bricks downtown in neons saying SLUG LIFE.

A player on a video game who has no life outside it, and thus is a "leet" player - one with a huge amount of expertise at the game of their choosing.

A state of mind most commonly found in the urban slums of major cities, In which males, but not limited to, who have grown up with out a constant father figure use to describe the mentality that was forced upon them by their inhospittable environment. This mentality is characterized by the incessant need to familiarize one's self with the more glamourous side of life, the ability to be able to forsake any and everything for personal gain, and the ability to live life the fullest.
Contrary to common beleif, this descripition is not limited to one specific race, gender, or any denomination.

one who believes in the protection of life once it has been created, but specifically unborn life.
in regard to abortion, (s)he believes that the "right to choose" lies in the choice to have sex, and if human life is created (at CONCEPTION), the choice is no longer the woman's. not necessarily an activist, but often unafraid to defend his/her position and attempt to persuade others that abortion is a horrific, murderous act.
the pro-lifers i know are not fundamentalists, but do have a religious- or moral-based concern for everyone's the right to life

A group of people who are mainly christian who come together on a day of the week for club aka the best time of the week and they basically party and play games. At the end of club, a leader will tell a story or scripture from the bible and then they all pray and go out somewhere afterwards for ice cream or food. Young life also has this amazing thing called campaigners where kids in young life come together and read from the bible, talk about what it means, and tell how it connects to them or todays world. IT’S NOT A CULT! and anyone can go, it’s for everyone, not just popular people.

Being "Salt Life" is a mindset and preference for those who feel most comfortable surfing, swimming, fishing, diving, going to water-parks and being wet or in the sunshine. Its about relaxing on the beach and being kissed by the sun. If you label yourself a beach bum, then you live the salt life. If your whole house is decorated in coastal/nautical beach decor, you're a salt lifer. No matter where you live, what your job is or what degree you love....if you are salt life, you are salt life.
