The term originated with tea drinkers who prefer an older approach to the time honored tradition of a social "tea time". It is stated that a certain joy comes from not just the drinking and sharing of a cup of tea but the ritual of steeping the water in the kettle and taking the time to enjoy the entire process involved. A means, to remind folks to slow down in such a busy era and enjoy the process. Also a means to insult someone for being old fashion.
