Nightmare (1993) is an EPIC stop-animation flick co-directed and written by Tim Burton, and based on a poem of his creation. Like any Burton movie, the visuals are absolutely STUNNING in their dark and dreamy ways, and Danny Elfman, who composed the music and gave our much loved Jack Skellington a voice to sing, just tied together this insane piece of perfection.
TNBC is not just a kid’s movie. It’s a masterpiece that doesn’t know age, because anyone will love its charming story, lovable characters, macabre humor, and kick-ass songs, which have been covered by bands including Marilyn Manson, Korn, Evanescence, Flyleaf, Rise Against, Fall Out Boy, All American Rejects, and Panic! at the Disco and more. Stop-motion. claymation. all around perfect.

A workplace cohort who has taken it upon herself to take on the role of a nightmare sister, finding ways to endlessly embarrass, harass, prank and annoy you to the point of near-insanity.
When I wake up some mornings I find myself breaking out in a cold sweat just imagining the weird and unexpected things my nightmare sister colleague might do to me that day.

A kickass stop-animation movie, concieved by Tim Burton. He wrote a poem that the movie was based on, but wasnt too closely involved with it otherwise.
Danny Elfman did the music and sang for Jack Skellington. WONDERFUL songs in this movie.
Pitched as a kid's movie, but all can appreciate it.
It is currently the 10th anniversary, so go out and buy it on DVD!

Great movie,based on tim burtons poem.But this movie has been ruined for people who really do like it by all those wannabe goths that have turned it into the lastest movie to like.
