wild party or music situation that is largely off the track, off the wall, off the hook, e.t.c.
there was a 60s' yardbirds album called, 'lets' have a rave-up' this alluded to extended guitar soloing, feedback, assorted abstract musical departure.
rave-up could lend itself to the more modern 'rave', where the object also is to 'get wild'!!
'rave-up' has some history with the influence of psychedelic drugs upon those musicians who would, "shake the air" (-frank zappa)
someone 'raving' could (and should!) be perceived as 'out of their head', ie: geniune insanity, or temporary insanity/drug influence...this is not always all bad!!
i went to the rave-up and when the band got back on the ground, everyone was stunned!
it was a banner rave-up! everybody got wild or off!!
she tried to get bill to go to the rave-up, but he had to go to the church fellowship meeting!

A party animal of the rave scene, always sporting some kind of outlandinsh outfit, mostly cute, pigtails baby dummies. Loves the feel of material will always stroke your fake fur jacket while telling you how beautiful you are and sucking on a lolly pop.
Must wear killer boots.Always smiling and imitating a bouncing ball or soaring bird.
Can never miss a party, can do at least 3 solid days of partying, moving between venues.
That ESP in Jhb is full of Rave Bunnies on a Sunday Afternoon, still going from the Night before.

1.) noun ; partner who you meet at a rave event and decide to stay with for a majority of the event. You and your rave babe may participate in activities such as shoulder rides, grinding, sharing water, hooking up etc. Things may or may not excel after the event
2.) noun ; a extremely attractive raver. Usually applies to females but can be used upon males. They're typically very fit and wears little clothing to such event

A grave rave is a rave or party in a graveyard or place made to look like a graveyard. Often thrown on or around Halloween.
That grave rave on Halloween was wicked!

When a female has been clubbing for many an hour usually somewhere where the toilets look like something from a farmyard and nobody has replenished the toilet roll since 1972. This is how she would describe her little flower when she returns home (usually a good 48 hrs after she went out).
