1. To die, especially by suicide.
2. To exit.

Origins: The fadeout at the end of motion pictures. Popularized in the 80's, as a term for suicide, by the band Metallica in the song "Fade To Black".

Self taught hairstyle originating out of Kokomo, IN; Similar to a military fade, requiring a #2-3 on the sides and a #4-5 on top, normally performed on friends with the same set of trimmers used to trim your pubic hair.

Fat Cox needed his fro trimmed, so I gave him a dirty fade.
