One of the largest annual dance festivals (raves) in the United States at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado and drawing in people from all corners of the country.
Global is typically in late-July with some of the biggest names in electronica headlining, such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, bt, Paul Oakenfold, and Armin Van Buren putting in performances.
Global Dance Festival 2007 was the climax of the summer. Tiesto played a flawless three hour set and showed off exactly why he is the number one DJ in the world.

The funnest festival in the world, located at Camp Mather, Yosemite National Park twice a year on Memorial Day and Labor Day. All the songs are bluegrass and you can just relax for 4 perfect days of pure bliss =D

A gathering of mostly 18-25 year old hipsters at the Gorge, in George, Washington. The Columbia River provides a gorgeous backdrop to this festival of drunk and high hippies, and fun "indie" bands. If you are bothered by the smoke from weed, you might want to skip Sasquatch!
