My band, for the most part we can't play instruments bar the drummer. We were going to be called The Lismuse Dashers, however we were amused by the American preoccupation with dividing teenagers into little social categories like 'jocks' and 'geeks'. Seeing ourselves to be the complete anti-thesis of the traditional view of a 'jock' we toyed with the name 'The Anti-Jocks' before settling for the simpler and easier to remember 'The Geeks'. Due to the fact that we know that this name will inevitably have been done before due to its sheer obviousness, we will probably change the name back to The Lismuse Dashers once we can actually play instruments. Despite our lack of musical talent, we have successfully written a song called 'I Fucking Hate My Parents', Original, isn't it?
Duuuuuuuuuuuude, The Lismuse Dashers (formerly The Geeks), totally rocked at that sold out gig at Wembley Arena last night! Everyone was moshing to 'I fucking Hate My Parents'!

Actual definition according to Websters dictionary 2002: A Geek is someone who bites the heads off of chickens in the circus.

An outgoing, funny and borderline unpredictable man with a unique swag that cannot be pulled off by many. Man who has the proper balance of composure and energy. Known to wear skinny jeans and snap-backs, but the style is evolving.

Person of intelligence pertaining to a specific field; Generally obsessive to the point that they have a serious deficiency of social skills or understanding.
*Not to be confused with "Dork," which is a person of little intelligence, with knowledge of an abstract field. Comes off as useless, or rediculous.
*Also not be be confused with Nerd, which is a combination of the two, and is out-dated.
I can't believe that guy would rather stay home and write software for extra credit than have a drink with us, what a geek.

A geek is a person that prefers the company of men, and loves performing slowies on older wrinkled men.

(Synonym of nerd) The kids who usually sit in the back of class and only talk to awnser a question or chat about a topic that falls into these catagories: anime or manga, video games, science, math or another low key social topic. Although most kids are picked on they do get revenge by becoming your boss later on, however as with all social groups some differences can occur such as: A preppy nerd, A cool nerd, a Nerd who gets F's, and Blerds
I wish i didn't pick on that geeky kid in high school or i wouldn't be looking for a new job.
