They are so scared of what could happen to them that they lose all rational thinking and common sense, even turning to Nazi like behavior to try and reduce their unwarranted fear.

Let’s go Darwin can be used when you see someone wearing a mask when driving alone in there car. "Let's go Darwin" instead of "What a F***ing idiot".
