Feature creep or scope creep is what happens when a project (usually software) spirals out of control and starts to have features added to it that were not intended, were not in the original design, or were not paid for. Feature creep usually results in bad times for the builders of the project as well as the company they work for.
Feature creep is generally a result of poor management or a bad idea, in which nobody had the balls to say "no" to either the bad design in the first place, or to the guy who wanted to add the features (which can be as often one of the people building it as one of the people paying for it).
Feature creep has made its way into the public arena as mission creep, to describe a political or military adventure that has gone out of control in the same way, for the same reasons.
I would have been out partying this weekend, but thanks to feature creep, I was working all weekend instead.

A term used to describe a section of a bar, most likely in a poorly lit corner, in which creepy-looking men tend to congregate and stare at the female patrons, usually while holding a cheap, domestic beer in their hands.
"Did you see all of those guys in the corner? They were staring at me all night long."
"I know. That bar is notorious for having a Creep Corner."
A variant of the traditional hi five where the deliverer of the hand slap forces a finger interlock, leaving the unsuspecting recipient creeped out

Usually male person over 30 who tries to reconnect with today's youth by starting random conversations about Pokémon GO. Often with a van parked behind them.
Jay (17): This creepy forty-something guy at the beach approached us and asked if he could show us his 290 CP Pidgeotto.
Cassandra (19): Yeah, malls and beaches have been full of Pokémon creeps lately. Kinda takes the fun out of catching them all...

2. v. The past tense of acquiring a piece of data or information by Facebook "creeping", or using other means. "Creep-retrieve" is the present tense.
