verb, to wiki-bored: to spend hours (randomly) browsing wikipedia articles primarily out of boredom.

most often used like an activity, "boarding."

less often used as a state of being, like "bored."

last night, while i was wiki-boreding, i saw that paul walker is on some national geographic shark show...

dude, i was wiki-bored for like 3 hours at work yesterday.

When someone asks you or someone around you about something, and you use Wikipedia to find the answer quickly, so you can tell the asker what it is.

"Hey, does anyone know what the capital of Luxembourg is?"
"Err..." *pulls out phone and quick-wiki's Luxembourg* "The capital is also called Luxembourg."
"Cheers mate. You're so smart."
"Nah, I just quick-wiki'ed it."

Frequently referencing Wikipedia while watching a t.v. show to find out interesting historical facts about the program's cast.

Surfing Wikipedia continually out of sheer boredom.

Ex. Tonight, while watching Family Guy, I was being a Wiki Hawk and found out that Seth Mcfarland used to be a writer for the cartoon Johnny Bravo.

Wiki Red

When something is too insignificant to warrant an explanation or reason behind it. Also more generally used to describe people, places, or things that don't matter or are unknown, especially in comparison to something more popular or significant. Derived from articles on Wikipedia that are in red because no one has cared to write an article for them.

Example 1

Person 1: "Samuel L Jackson has been in a lot of movies."

Person 2: "Yeah, but most of them are Wiki Red."

Example 2

Person 1: "Dude, remember Charles from Kindergarten, I saw him at the bar last night, he's a pilot now!"

Person 2: "Charles? Who cares about Wiki Red ass Charles, I just hit the damn lottery!"

Example 3

Person 1: "Meh, did you hear about the inside deal Wall Street execs are making with Lobbyist in the Senate?"

Person 2: "No!? That's some Wiki Red shit."
