Completely normal action between two straight guy friends. As mentioned, saying “no homo”’ explicitly makes it not gay. One of the best things to do to show true bro friendship showing each bro you really care about them.

A "bro" who really isn't a "bro" after all. Deep down they're actually nice guys with good qualities.
