A pop-punk/melodic hardcore band from San Francisco, CA. Unlike most other pop-"punk" bands like Fall Out Boy or Paramore, they actually have a punk sound. This is a gang term. It is placing your index finger below the nose signifying the other members that their opponent is near by. They could be facing the person that is being flagged. They do this to scare off unwanted company or to keep sight of someone. It doesn’t always necessarily mean murder. Usually someone is being robbed or targeted for some act of violence.
