1. Phrase
In essence, the phrase "jokes value" is used as incentive for performing and/or taking part in an activity that may appear trivial, useless and possibly offensive at first glance, but in truth is intended for humorous purposes, and humorous purposes only.
It is unlikely, but not impossible for a person that is participating in a "jokes value" activity to derive any utility from the activity itself other than that which is gained from the humour.
2. Noun
A qualitative attribute directed towards an act or activity that an individual or group of individuals perform or an occurrence that yields humour.
Phrase Example:

Probably one of the most lamest jokes you will ever hear. It’s not even a joke is just using a sound board with a microwave sound affect or a vine boom fart.

Grant was telling a story about how 'funny' something was the other day. He laughed throughout and when he had finished speaking, he only heard his own laughter. Grant had done a joke wank.

When someone places an object on someone's shoulder without that person knowing in an attempt to make that person look ridiculously foolish.
The objects used can vary - popular objects are erasers, plastic utensils, chips, noodles, and paper napkins.
