A term used on WoW (World of Warcraft). It's to tell everyone to disperse and go different ways. Usually in PvP or raiding. Has nothing to do with actual cougars or mature women.

When a cop has someone pulled over and they angle their vehicle towards the road and turn their wheel into the traveled lane.
This increases the chances of impact with a moving vehicle by way of increasing the amount of surface area available for impact as well as increases the odds that during an impact the police cruiser will be pushed into oncoming traffic.
Oh look another cop pulled over an out of state plate on a busy road and is pulling a Darwin Maneuver.

Much like the large amount of precipitation that Vancouver, WA receives in the fall, the Vancouver Maneuver deals with a significant loss of liquids --- So make sure to hydrate!!
