The act of reading a Wikipedia page, then following a link to another Wikipedia page of related interest, then from this page following another link. Eventually you end up an hour later reading stuff completely irrelevant to what you originally looked up!

When somebody announces information or posts it on the internet that they clearly aquired through a wikipedia page, but they say it in a manner where you are supposed to believe that they just know it and are intelligent. However, when called upon it they rationalize how they obtained the information. Usually used by an educated individual who thinks they can pull it off.

I skipped lunch today because a search for foods containing HDL's led me into a wiki-vortex. I'm still hungry, but now I have a fractal understanding of neuro-science.
