As someone who's in this for a decent time now, this community has devolved from being kind and effortful to being targeted by the slow corruption: characters will magically become unlikable just so that JnJ's air-quote deity, Pin, can actually get an advantage!
On the subreddit, say anything bad about our deity (Pin)? Get the whole army of her glazers mocking and harassing you in the comments!
This show has lost all of it's original charm: flanderization, vote rigging (making characters act like dipshits just to get them out, as they're in said deity's way or JnJ just hates them inside), and a community slightly less toxic than Twitter's makes 2024 BFDIA kinda suck...

Type of punk music inspired by The Homosexuals and Protex which is kind of nervous, cathartic and fairly minimalist. Post-skate bands have the attitude without the object, they have the punk without being skate-punk, they have a vintage style without the vans.
Dude, did you listen to these new post-skate bands? Thigh Master, Dumb, Aborted Tortoise and The Shifters are so rad!
Speedy garage punk with nervous yet friendly voice (nothing like angry punks), a simplistic and very tight rhythm, a cathartic sound, almost chopped, anti-corporation lyrics, a mid-fi production (not too lo-fi) and bouncy melodies with a vehement tendency.
Oh man, the new Aborted Tortoise is such a good post-skate album.

Synonymous with spam, it is the posting of multiple messages in a short succession. It is usually done to gain certain privileges that require a certain amount of posts to gain, or to simply boost one's post count to make them seem like they're a more experienced user (although this is usually not the case with people who power post)
Person 1: *new thread* "OMG hi guys!!!"
Person 1: *repeats the above about 500 times*
Person 2: "I think Person 1 might be power posting."
A topic, thread, or other group of messages on the interwebs where the object is to try to be the first to post and get it as fast as possible.
