three-piece band been up and going for 12 years, still strong, you either love it or hate it, not punk (yes us fans can face it) but mad shit anyway. very catchy, Dude Ranch would be their best.

An awesome pop punk band of three members; four total if you count the drummer switch. Towards the end of their about 13-year run they released a self-titled album, which seems to have caught the most attention of any of their productions. Of course, the attention was from vexing pre- and just regular teens due to the album's publicity from MTV. (A thing similar to what happened with Green Day, but not nearly as big).
Never will I forget this band.
With Blink's break-up, two new bands have come about. Guitarist Tom Delonge helped form Angels And Airwaves, while bassist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker have formed +44. Both great bands, in my opinion. I shan't go into depth, though.

My favorite band since I was 11. They play songs I relate to and are getting more deep.

An awesome band that started in California. Their first and second CDs, Cheshire Cat and Buddha, didn't get much recognition, but with the arrival of Dude Ranch and especially Enema of the State they became famous. They aren't considered punk because they have a wide fan base and not all of their songs are rebellious. Either way, their songs are all great (except for some on their newest album), and they are by far the funniest and most original band ever to exist.
Talk to you every now and then

A pop rock band with a bit of edge. They originally started out as a punk, old Green Day-like sounding band, but evolved into a modern pop rock band. They do not label themselves, people put the labels on them. They are the genre that we, as listeners, put them in. Some people consider them as punk rock wannabes, some consider them punk rock, and some donβt even bother. Most of the hardcore Blink 182 fans now started liking Blink when they were around 12-16 years old. Blink broke up in February of 2005, the day that Atticus III was released because of constant tension between the band mates, especially between Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge. They are now working on their own individual projects, Plus 44, The Transplants, and Angels and Airwaves. The band getting back together seems a bit far fetched at this point in time.
blink-182 played an AMAZING show with the green bitches in 2003. Then they broke up and life sucks. there.

not a band for everyone
they were from my home town i grew up listening to them
however a 11 year old that has heard one song is a disgrace
they arent punk they arent anything but good
stop trying to label them cause no one care
idk who trys to compare them the ramones, sex pistols and others like them cause they are nothing alike. i listen to both types of music and they have different styles from different time periods. and they are anything but emo
Blink is so upbeat you cant begin to say that.
stereotypical junkie:eww look its blink 182, they aren't punk the ramones are punk Blink 182 sucks
me: w/e they are both good so get your head out of your ass and listen to the lyrics of the songs you say you listen to and stop judging people
