When they say there is cake, but there is an alternate motive that usually ends in ones humiliation/demise.

Stupid lie one makes in the past in an attempt to look cool. Often these are forgotten by most but then they are embarrassingly brought up several months or even years later.

A Sick lie: to have a sick burp, but then purposefully encourage the burning hot sick up and out of the back of your delicate throat and on to such objects such as, tables, power points, electrical equipment and babies. Sick lies can achieve sympathy. They can also in able you to get out of meeting, detentions and lunch out with your step-mum. To pretend to be sick. To deceive your own body.
