A tall-top, not to be confused with a high-top, is another name for a sneaker boot that extends far above the ankle. What differentiates this footwear from a high-top is that it is much taller in height. It is, however, not a boot because it does not include a distinct heel and bears the look of a tall sneaker more than that of a boot. I copped the limited edition tall-tops the other day; I heard they're selling out quick. I can't say I regret it, but they're definitely not as comfortable as most of my other shoes so they're staying in the closet until the weather hits 40°.
